What is the trip? If you happen to just stumble across my blog, or you wish to follow my blog, and are unsure of what my trip is, this post will give you a brief overview.
This trip to Nicaragua is a service trip to help out a school for children with disabilities. We will be down there for about a week, April 13-21.
While we are down there, each person will grow an appreciation for what we have in Colorado, along with developing mentally inside of ourselves. Working in a country that is lower than us, and that has lesser living conditions will make us change and try to give back more. It will also teach us selflessness and courage, because we will be putting the kids that we help as our top priority, and it takes a lot of courage to step outside our comfort zone.
